The CalfExpert Automatic Feeding System consists of a mainframe and one to four sanitary feeding stations with milk replace silos (or fresh milk holding devices) and additive storage tanks.
When a calf enters the feeding station, the station's built-in calf identification system automatically recognizes the calf's ear tag and feedback the calf's growth information to the feeding host, which automatically retrieves the calf's appropriate feeding profile and dispenses individual milk substitute or the appropriate amount of milk according to the calf's age.
